HornbachEvents

SAVE THE DATE: From 16 to 19 of May 2018, will take place the first edition of EXPO SHOP – Future Retail Solutions, the first romanian exhibition dedicated to the retail industry, a B2B event organized by Euroexpo and Romexpo, in partnership with retail-FMCG.ro. On 17 of May 2018, at the exhibition, it will take place the EXPO SHOP conference, organized by Euroexpo and retail-FMCG.ro.

14 companies from Romania already confirmed the participation at BUYER POINT 2018 , an international event that will take place in Milano from 8 to 9 May, 2018, including eMAG, Carrefour, Temad, MAM Bricolaj, NOD, evoMAG and Green Project.

Hornbach

Hornbach, one of the main local retailers of building materials and gardening, celebrated Women Day with a DIY workshopThe retailer also launched the advertising campaign „Free yourself from stress”. Hornbach launched in March 2018 the Valbona furniture, a new range for bathroom.

XXXLUTZ

XXXLUTZ austrian company, the second biggest furniture european retailer, opened in Timisoara the first store in Romania, as MOMAX brand.

IKEA

The Swedish company IKEA, a world leader in furniture and decorations, has already bought a land near Timisoara, in Dumbrăvita, to build the 3rd store in Romania and the first outside Bucharest. The second store is in the process of construction in Bucharest and will be open until the end of this summer. The first IKEA store in Romania was opened more than 10 years ago, in 2007.

IKEA Romania launched the OMEDELBAR limited collection, created in collaboration with one of the well known stylists and designers of costumes in the world, Bea Åkerlund. Also, the retailer celebrated Women Rights International Day and supports the effort to build an equal world.

More, Ikea will open in Romania a leader store in sustainability – Ikea Pallady.

Six projects selected by Ikea Fund for urban area finished the first year of activity an the results were evaluated by an independent jury. Also, Ikea will open a third store in Romania in Timisoara, the retailer already bought the place to start the construction.

Brico Depôt România

Brico Depot Romania, part of Kingfisher plc, an international company of interior arrangements, launched the first catalog dedicated to the spring season „The inspiration of a new start”, that offers professionals and DIY and gardening passionates ideas and solutions for garden an house. The retailer had a 3 million pounds profit in 2017, according to the Kingfisher financial report.

Praktiker Romania

Praktiker Romania, part of Kingfisher plc, an international company of interior arrangements, launched „The inspiration of a new start” catalog, dedicated to the spring season.

JYSK Romania

JYSK Romania, the furniture, home furnishings and home textiles retailer, part of the JYSK Nordic Scandinavian group, opened the 56th store in Romania in Giurgiu.

Häfele Romania

Häfele Romania, leader in the production and commercial of accessories, hardware fittings for furniture and electronic access control systems, announced the opening of the first local showroom in Bucharest, where it presents the latest technologies for furniture and smart solutions for architectural apps.

EFdeN
