Arabesque, Praktiker, TEKZEN, eMAG.ro, Carrefour, Vivre.ro, evoMag.ro, Progreen, Honest, GardenPedia.ro, Network One Distribution (NOD), Brico Construct, Global Plast, Sentosa, JoyJoy.ro, ELVILA and Bam Boo are the first romanian companies who already confirmed the presence at international B2B event from Milan, Italy – BUYER POINT – from 10-11 may 2016.
Arabesque, the main supplier of building materials and finishing in Romania, inaugurated in Pitesti city the biggest store Arabesque (over 9.000 sqm) and the first oriented to private customers. The investment, worth about 10 million, creating over 100 new jobs.
Brico Depot Romania, part of DIY retailer Kingfisher, had losses of 9 million £ in the financial year 2015 (February 2015 – January 2016), according to the british group’s financial results. The total sales of the New Country Development of Kinkfisher who includes operations in Romania, Portugal and Germany were 111 million £ with losses of 17 million £ (in 2014/15: was reported a retail loss of 22 million £), reflecting a more challenging environment for Brico Dépôt Romania (£9 million loss).
The bauMax stores from Suceava and Bacau entered into transformation process in Leroy Merlin stores. There are still 3 bauMax units to transform (in Craiova, Iasi and Timisoara) from the total of 15 stores at the acquisition date, when Adeo Group bought the bauMax network from Romania.
In the ather hand, Leroy Merlin opened this month another store in Targu Mures city. The total number of Leroy Merlin store in Romania is 11 (transformed and builded from the scratch), at this moment,
Elvila, a leading furniture manufacturers and retailers in Romania, launched its new online store – www.elvila.ro – with products home furnishings, custom-made furniture and furnishings for Horeca.
JYSK Romania, the local subsidiary of Danish retailer of furniture, decoration and home textiles, inaugurated, în march, store number 30 and store number 31 in Romania.
