After almost two months from the preventive temporary closure, IKEA Romania stores have been reopened on 15th of May 2020, according to the Romanian Government decisions about relaxation of restrictive measures.

In the same time with reopening the store in Romania, following the relaxation measures starting with 15th of May, JYSK opened two new stores, reaching 87 stores in Romania. The retailer will remain consistent with its plans of expansion this year, when it will open almost 15 stores, despite of the difficult situation made by COVID-19.
Studio Moderna
The two months in which non-food retail from commercial centers were closed made merchants considerable losses that risk to become irretrievable, contributing to the economic crisis that is outlined, if the owners do not accept a flexible formula for rents payment.

In April, Bonami, the online store with furniture and decorations, overcome the initial prognosis, having sales of 6 millions euro on all the markets in which is present, of which 1 million euro on the Romanian market.
