Dedeman, a national leader in retail construction materials and interior design, with 100% romanian capital, announced the opening of a new store in Oradea, reaching a network of 44 stores nationwide. Dedeman figures: 44 stores 2 logistics centers, its own car park, over 45,000 products covering 11 fields, about 8,500 employees, between 7500-18000 sqm store;
LEROY MERLIN, one of the largest DIY retailer in the world and one of the DIY market leaders in Romania, anounced the opening of the 15th store in Romania, thus completing the process of development, modernization and rebranding all bauMax stores. The store in Timisoara marks the end of the process of rebranding the bauMax stores converted into Leroy Merlin, a process that lasted 20 months and in which they were transformed and reopened 12 stores.
From all the 15 bauMax stores purchased in 2014 by Adeo Group, 3 were closed permanently (Bucharest – Chitila, Pitesti and Craiova) and the remaining 12 stores have been converted into Leroy Merlin stores, who joined the other three stores under the same brand built from scratch: Bucharest – Colloseum, Bucharest – Bragadiru and Craiova – Electroputere Mall.
Praktiker, one of the best known DIY brands in Romania, celebrates 14 years of activity on the local DIY market. On this occasion, Praktiker officialy launches his online store – www. praktiker.ro. From the new online store, the customers can order currently more than 8,000 products from all 40,000 products sold in brick and mortar stores, this number increasing from month to month.
In the next period, the retailer will move to the second stage of development of the online store, which will be introduced more features for online customers. For example, the platform will be enriched with „click & pick”, that certain products can be ordered online and then picked directly from the store.
In Romania, Praktiker has 27 stores in 24 cities. Praktiker Romania offer comprises over 40,000 products, including: building and construction materials, gardening products, indoor and outdoor decorations.
