Romanian DIY marketDedeman, the romanian DIY retailer and the leader of romanian DIY market, opened on September 2 a new store in Oradea (western Romania), thus reaching a total network of 44 stores nationwide.

Dedeman store from Oradea has an investment of about 14 million and created more than 200 jobs.With 480 parking spaces, a sales area of over 13.000 square meters and a greenhouse garden for articles about 3.000 sqm., The new store awaits customers with over 45,000 products

 

LEROY MERLIN

LEROY MERLIN, one of the leading DIY retailers worldwide, part of French group Adeo, will become later this year, most likely, number two player in romanian DIY market, in terms of turnover, after finishing the rebranding process of former bauMax stores, acquired in 2014.

Among other plans LEROY MERLIN will include the opening of another 5 stores in Romania, in the next 3 years. The retailer has already purchased two lands and two new stores will be open in 2017: one in Bucharest and one in Oradea. Currently, in Romania, the french DIY retailer operates 15 stores LEROY MERLIN.

BIFE-SIM

BIFE-SIM Fair, the event of the year for furniture market in Romania. was held between 14 to 18 September at Romexpo exhibition center, in Bucharest – Companies from Romania and abroad, hundreds of models, thousands of pieces, dozens of styles, information, specialists and the general public.

JYSK

JYSK Romania, one of the biggest retailers of furniture, decoration and home textiles in Europe, part of Scandinavian JYSK Nordic, opened a new store in the city of Iasi, in Era Shopping Park. This is the 39th store opened by Scandinavian company in Romania.
