The German brand of home & deco Butlers officially entered the Romanian market, by opening the first store in Mega Mall Bucharest, on the -1 floor, and has a surface of 197 sqm.
Brico Depot
The most anticipated shopping campaign of the year, Black Friday, takes place at Brico Depot between the 30th of October and the 19th of November.
Mobexpert
Mobexpert opened its new store in Brasov in the Coresi commercial hub.
JYSK
JYSK, the Scandinavian retailer of furniture and home products, opened a new store in Titu.
mömax
Stadium Green, a company from Cluj-Napoca specialized in real estate development, owned by the entrepreneur Dorin Bob, finished the sale of lands from Jilava to Altex group and to mömax, the retailer of furniture and decorations that is part of XXXLutz. The lands will be integrated into a larger lot owned by the Altex group and will form the basis for the development of the largest retail park in southern Bucharest.
Leroy Merlin
Leroy Merlin, the retailer specializing in construction, decorations, and gardening, launched a new edition of the Zen Friday campaign, an initiative that reaffirms the company’s commitment to offering lower prices every day, without depending on seasonal discount waves.

The construction sector in Romania represents almost 8% of GDP in the last 4 quarters – the biggest share in the entire EU, according to the data from Eurostat analyzed by Colliers.

The foreign direct investment in construction and real estate transactions grew by over three times in absolute value between 2014 and 2024, from 15.1 billion euros to 21.6 billion euros at the end of the year, so the share of this sector in the total balance grew from 10.6% to 17.3%, according to the data from Romanian National Bank analyzed by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
