Homelux, the retailer of furniture and decorations, opened a new store in Ploiesti, in the commercial center Mercur Shopping Center.

This is the second store in Ploiești city and the fourth in the HOMELUX group in Romania, after the stores in DN1 Value Center Bucharest, Ploiești and Focșani.

Leroy Merlin

Leroy Merlin, the retailer specialized in constructions, decorations and gardening, registered a fourfold increase of the online sales in the last three months, from the digital listing of the entire portfolio of over 30.000 products, with delivery all over the country. Starting with 22nd of November, the retailer organized the campaign of sustainable sale and reuse of Christmas trees, for the 6 year. At six months after opening the store in Targoviste, Leroy Merlin, announced that it registered with 15% more clients every months.

Brico Dépôt

Zitec, leader on the IT & digital marketing market, specialized in developing solutions and services of digital transformation, announced the development in partnership of the new online store of Brico Dépôt, one of the biggest retailers of DIY present in Romania, using the platform Magento 2 Commerce Cloud. The sales of the retailer in Romania increased in the third trimester with 14.6%.


JYSK Romania, the Scandinavian retailer of furniture and decorations for home, started the campaign of Employer Branding „Launch with JYSK” and created a portal with advices dedicated to then candidates. Started in 2017, the afforestation actions organized by the national initiative of afforestation Plantam fapte bune in Romania in collaboration with JYSK Romania continued in 2021, for the 5th year.


IKEA announced that started the constructions for its new store IKEA Timisoara, in Dumbravita, through which the company proposed to bring the IKEA life mode closer to the people from the West zone of Romania. This store will be opened at the end of 2022 and will be the third IKEA store in Romania.


Agroland group (AG symbol) entered the Bals market, by opening the first store in the city, after an investment of 150.000 euro in which there are not included the stocks of products.
