The exhibition gathers, in the two days, in the same place, exhibitors from Romania and other countries and purchasing specialists and other industry professionals. Romanian DIY market in March 2023

DIY marketMatHaus by Arabesque

MatHaus by Arabesque, retail brand of the biggest distributor of constructions and finishes materials in Romania, opened on 24th of March 2023 the 8th MatHaus store in Romania in Suceava.


At the same time, Arabesque inaugurated in Suceava the largest logistics platform for the sale of construction and finishing materials in the country. The platform covers an area of 46,900 sqm and includes the Arabesque warehouse and the MATHAUS store, with a total built-up area of approximately 22,000 sqm.


JYSK, the Scandinavian retailer of furniture and products for home, opened at the end of March a new store in Campulung Muscel and reached 131 units in the country.


Agroland Business System, a Romanian entrepreneurial group of retail, agriculture and food, that owns the biggest agriculture store network in Romania, expanded the Agroland MEGA network at 23 units by opening two new stores in Ianca, Braila district, and Campulung, Arges district.

ABN Systems

The sales of products from the Tellur Green range increased with 136% between the second trimester and the fourth one of the 2022 year, according to ABN Systems International, that launched last year the first range of IT&C accessorizes made with natural, recycled and recyclable materials.

ROCA Industry

ROCA Industry, the fist Romanian holding of constructions materials companies, launched by ROCA Investments, reported combined sales of 388.1 millions lei (almost 80 millions euros), according to the annual preliminary report for 2022.


According to Kärcher specialists, some cleaning machines can reduce the consuming of water up until 90%.

Atu Tech

Atu Tech, online store of safety products and Romanian producer of safety equipment, launched a new range of own label products, SAFER, after an investment of over 1.2 millions euro.

Knauf Insulation

Knauf Insulation, one of the biggest producers on the insulation materials market, part of Knauf Group, started the construction of a new production unit in Tarnaveni, that will be finished in 2024.


Simtel Team, Romanian company of engineering and technology and national leader in renewable energy domain, announced an investment in the start-up Custom Soft Solutions (CSS), with ANT Power, a company in which Simtel owns 51% shares. Also, the company aims in 2023 a market share of 296.1 millions lei, EBITDA of 31.5 millions lei and a net profit of 25.6 millions lei.


Over 3000 MW of solar energy projects will be installed in Romania until the end of 2025, according to REI, group of companies specialized in attracting European funds and state aids.


According to the study Barometer of Healthy Homes 2022, made by VELUX in collaboration with RAND Europe, the decrease of climate risks in the interior can get Romania economic benefits of 6.3 billions until 2050, while every EU member countries could save up until 608 billions euro.
