Dedeman, the biggest DIY retailer from Romania, has opened at the end of July a new store in Satu Mare, a city in NW of Romania, bringing to a network of 43 stores nationwide. Over 45,000 products are available in the new store spanning an sales area of over 12.700 sqm. The new store also has a private parking with 399 places, was built with an investment of about 11 million euro and created over 160 new jobs.
Praktiker, one of the best known brand of Do-It-Yourself (DIY) from Romania, started the reshape proces for all 27 stores in Romania. Each reshaped store will require an investment of 400,000 euros. So, Praktiker reopened, in july, the store Praktiker Vitan, in Bucharest, the first store from the reshape network, in order to offer customers a new shopping and improved experience. The reshape process will continue with a duration of 1.5 months per store and no more than two stores reshaped in parallel.
JYSK Romania, one of the biggest retailers of furniture, decoration and home textiles in Europe, part of Scandinavian JYSK Nordic, opened in July, in Iasi, the store number 36 in Romania.
Casa Rusu, the retail company of the furniture manufacturer Russian Savitar, inaugurated the 18th own store after investing of 1.5 million. It is located in the Vitantis Shopping Center, in Bucharest and has an area of 6,000 square meters.
