Kingfisher plc group, an international company of DIY, sold Brico Dépôt Romania, one of the leaders of the local market of DIY and home improvement, to Altex Romania, for 70 million euros and includes the entire Brico Dépôt network, formed of 31 stores in 24 cities, the distribution operations and the headquarters from Bucharest.
Dedeman
Dedeman, the national leader in the retail of construction materials and home improvement, with 100% Romanian capital, opened a new store in Pascani, the third store in the Iasi district, and the 63rd store at the national level.
JYSK
The Scandinavian retailer of furniture and products for home JYSK opened a new store in Beius and two new stores in Constanta and Moinesti. With this openings JYSK reaches a network of 146 stores in Romania.
Leroy Merlin
CTP, the biggest developer, owner and administrator of industrial and logistics spaces listed in Europe based on the rentable surface, announced that Leroy Merlin Romania, one of the leaders of the DIY market, rented 8.800 sqm in CTPark Bucharest West, consolidating its logistics operations in one of the most important industrial hubs in Europe.
Leroy Merlin ran the campaign again for the sustainable sale of natural Christmas trees.
TEMAD
Temad, one of the most important national distributors of auxiliary materials for construction and renovations in Romania, exceeded a record market share of over 51 million euros.
Cushman & Wakefield Echinox
According to the third edition of Real Estate Investors Sentiment Barometer, made by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox on the most important investors and developers in Romania, 64% of the respondents forecast growth of the portfolio value, 30% expect stagnation, and just 6% estimate a decrease.
