In addition to changing the appearance of the stores and their layout, the rebranding will also involve unifying product offers in the context of the transformation of current product ranges at the entire Kinkfisher group through the integration of a range of innovative products available in all european stores.

Unified offer means simplicity: innovative products, easy to fit and space-efficient. Last but not least, unified product offer means a very good control of costs.

Announced at the end of September 2018, the process of rebranding and integrating the Praktiker stores portfolio in Brico Depôt began with the closure of some Praktiker units: first in Bucharest – Voluntari, Bacau, Ploiesti and Focsani stores, and then the stores in Pitesti, Brasov and Arad.

The rebranding process of the Praktiker network, implemented in several phases, continues the Kingfisher’s approach to contribute to the development of Home Improvement in Romania.

March 15th date will also mean the disappearance of the Praktiker brand, the first and oldest DIY brand in Romania.
