Leroy Merlin DIY retailer opened in Katowice – Baildon the 64th store in Poland and the 10th on the map of Silesia region. The Leroy Merlin store in Katowice is located at ul. Baildon 60.
The new Leroy Merlin store is located in a historic place at ul. Baildon – a fifteenth-century forge and sawmill, famous for the production of building materials. At the beginning of the 19th century, John Baildon, a Scottish engineer considered to be the precursor of the contemporary iron and steel industry, transformed this place into a steelworks, which became part of Katowice’s consciousness as Huta Baildon.
In the Leroy Merlin Katowice Baildon store, with a total area of 10,000. sq m, there are 13 trading departments, with over 35,000 products. The main distinguishing feature of the store is the inspirational zone of bathroom and kitchen arrangements and a wide range of garden products.
In addition to design services, the new store offer also includes assembly services for purchased products, as well as the possibility of adapting them to individual needs.
The store have a spacious parking lot with 570 parking spaces.
A team of over 160 store employees will advise clients on the selection of the right product or service tailored to the needs and the project. As part of modern work tools, every employee uses a business smartphone with access to applications that speed up customer service.
